Here's an update from Tilly and her new family.
"Tilly came to us in January. The trip from Stockholm was rather long by subway, train, plane and then drive to our home in southern Sweden. She is a sturdy and responsive girl.Shei started a dog obedience course of everyday life with our little dog Scampi. It went great! Often we had to complete the course by releasing Tilly on the ground by the sea so she had to run freely to everyone's delight. She loves to run and to showcase herself. There she met her first friend. Given that Tilly was unsure when meeting with other dogs, we have practiced this a lot, to meet and visit new dogs.
We went long walks on the beach, so she could stretch out. She discovered the sea, and in April she took her first dip. Tilly looks after her little sister Scampi, and protects her if there is another dog too close. She is in between. Loves to sleep in the morning and any time in mom's bed with down comforter on it. Preferably one fluffy pillow. Now this spring we tested the bike with her and now it is one of the favorites. She can imagine the cycle when we are walking, so she shows that "we can ride today?"
Tilly loves food and has got a lot of sandwiches and other tasty things from the dining table. She also won sausages with bread from surfing the guys on the beach, which she generously shared.
Tilly loves to bask and be warm. When she is in the garden, she is looking for squirrels and mice, and have caught a few mice. Then she threw them up in the air! We discovered that Tilly is afraid of horses, both outside and on TV. Perhaps a bad experience then before. She actually looks on TV sometimes."
