17th June - We got an update from Curly's new family, here's what Maria says.... "we just wanted to let you know how curly is getting on since we took him home in april.firstly, thank you so much for allowing us to take curly into our home,i knew the first time i saw him he was the dog for us,and from the moment he came to live with us he has brought much blessing and healing..you see our own dog spencer died last november and we never thought we would ever get another dog,let alone love one again.but curly has bought much love and healing and i truely believe he was sent by spencer to help us.
curly loves to go out in the car,he loves the beach, loves to play ball till he exhausts himself, loves to run and chase birds and he never realises that he will never catch them, and he loves to chew his chewy sticks till he falls asleep at night on his bed with his teddy.curly is gentle, friendly, very active, very intelligent, very obiedient,a good friend and companion and loves his food and his teddys.
we have 6 cats and initally when curly arrived he didnt get on with them,i guess he never really saw a cat before or he thought they were little dogs and wanted to run and jump on them which of course scared the living daylights out of the cats..it has taken time and training but now they are all friends...what a wonderful boy curly is."
