We had great news today, JC, our tiny lurcher was returned to his owners today. JC (whose real name is Matise) had been stolen from Co Meath a month ago and came to us after being thrown over the wall of a prison. Matise's owners spotted him on our site and came to get him, he was thrilled to see them and they are over-joyed to have him back.
It turns out Matise is a full bred whippet, he has American whippet in his lineage which is why he is larger than other whippets. Matise was a pleasure to have in the sanctuary and we wish him the best on his return home.
